Amanda D. Berger began her own law practice because she wanted to provide her clients with competent legal representation. Ms. Berger is passionate about advocating for her clients needs.
Ms. Berger received her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California. Ms. Berger studied International Law and received her International Legal Studies certificate after studying abroad in Salzburg Austria. Ms. Berger was honored to be taught by Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy in Austria.
Prior to opening her own practice, she obtained her experience and knowledge working with other reputable firms. Ms. Berger received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at University of Phoenix.
Ms. Berger is a Certified Family Law Specialist and a member of Wealth Counsel. She is able to provide competent legal representation for all your family law and estate planning needs.
Ms. Berger is very active in the community. She has served on non-profit boards and she spends time giving back to those in need.
You can usually find Ms. Berger spending time with her husband, their newborn daughter and dog in Tahoe, with family or traveling when she is not at the office.
Katharine Rupp received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier College School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California. Ms. Rupp studied Environmental Law and received her Environmental Law certificate. She was awarded the CALI Award of Excellence for Environmental Justice.
Ms. Rupp received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with a specialization in Middle Eastern Studies from California State University, Sacramento. While at CSUS, Ms. Rupp was the captain of the policy debate team and competed nationally.
Prior to joining the Law Office of Amanda D. Berger, Ms. Rupp had a successful career providing compliance consulting services to large insurers and self-insured entities. Ms. Rupp chose to make the transition into family law after going through her own custody case, during which she learned the value of having a competent and empathetic attorney. She strives to provide the same for her clients as she embarks on this next chapter in her career.
When she’s not at the office you can usually find Ms. Rupp chasing after her son Samuel, or enjoying time outside with family and friends.
